Tickets on Sale for First Cherry Godfrey Cup at Victoria Park
Victoria Park will make history once again when it hosts the Cherry Godfrey Cup for the very first time this later month, welcoming teams from across the Channel Islands and beyond for a celebration of women’s football and island pride.
Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural Cherry Godfrey Cup in Jersey in 2024, the tournament will unite players, coaches, officials and supporters from Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight on 26–27 June 2026, marking another significant milestone for Guernsey’s Home of Football.
The tournament’s success reflects the growing strength of the women’s game across the islands. With top-quality facilities and a vibrant atmosphere expected throughout the weekend, the Cherry Godfrey Cup will showcase the passion, talent and commitment that continue to drive the growth of women’s football.
Gary Roberts, CEO of the Guernsey Football Association, said: “We are extremely proud to be hosting this special tournament for the first time here at Victoria Park. We are looking forward to seeing teams from across Jersey, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight unite for what promises to be a memorable celebration of football and island pride.
“We are extremely grateful to Cherry Godfrey for its continued support of the women’s game, as well as the sponsors, volunteers and organisers whose efforts have made the event possible.
“The weekend represents far more than a football competition. It is a showcase of the remarkable progress being made in football and a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when communities come together to support and invest in opportunity.”
Supporters are encouraged to come along, enjoy the action and be part of a memorable weekend at Victoria Park.
