When will the facility be completed?

Victoria Park is scheduled to open to the public in March 2025, when all of the facilities and 3G pitch will be available for use by the community.

Will there be disabled access?

Victoria Park has been designed to be accessible to everyone, including those requiring disabled access.

The stadium design is based on a ground-level facility and incorporates designated disabled parking, along with disabled toilets, showers and spectator viewing areas.

Will there be parking?

Yes, there is parking on the site - Victoria Park has been designed to accommodate 49 cars and 11 motorcycles.

As part of the stadium’s environmental sustainability plan, we also encourage visitors to use public transport wherever possible, and have on-site capacity for over 100 bicycles.

We understand that there will be occasions when the stadium will attract larger visitor numbers than usual. During these times, specific traffic management protocols will be in place, and we are currently working on initiatives to facilitate those travelling to the venue by car.

Can I reach the stadium on public transport?

Victoria Park Stadium can be accessed by using any of the following five bus routes:

  • 11
  • 12
  • 13
  • 21
  • 92

Each route has a stop along Les Banques, and the stadium is only a 5-minute walk along Victoria Avenue.

What catering will be available within the stadium?

Victoria Park’s facilities include a clubhouse that serves food and drinks throughout the week.

In addition, there will be further on-site catering on specific match days where large spectator numbers are expected.

What footwear can be used on the 3G pitch?

Footwear can significantly impact our 3G pitch, helping to prevent injury, improving the player experience and protecting the surface.

Designed specifically for football, the pitch at Victoria Park has a long pile turf that gives a realistic grass feel whilst also being able to withstand heavy use. To keep the pitch in peak condition, players must use boots with studs to stop the fibres from becoming compressed and damaging the surface.

For the 3G surface at Victoria Park, the following boots are permitted:

• Artificial Grass (AG) footwear – small, short studs that are hollow or specially moulded

CAN I WEAR BLADES ON THE PITCH?

No, bladed boots are prohibited on our surface, as they can cut through the synthetic turf causing serious damage. However, they aren’t the only boots that are unacceptable; the following footwear is prohibited at Victoria Park:

• Bladed boots
• Boots with metal studs
• Flat-soled training shoes
• Astro trainers
