Tickets Go Live for the First Muratti Day at Victoria Park
The Guernsey Football Association has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 107th
Muratti Vase, which takes place on Saturday 17th May at Victoria Park. The highlight of the
football calendar, this year’s tournament marks a historic moment for inter-insular football
as Guernsey’s new home of football welcomes ‘Muratti Day’ fans through the turnstiles for
the first time.

Once again, both the Men’s Final and Women’s Muratti, sponsored by Close Finance, will
take place on the same day as the three islands compete for victory at the islands’ newest
sports venue.
We can’t wait to welcome fans from across the islands through the
turnstiles for what will be such a momentous occasion here at Victoria Park.
The inter-islands tournament will kick off with the Women’s Muratti match between
Guernsey and Jersey at 10:15am, with the Guernsey FA looking to retain the title after
claiming a deserved victory in Jersey last year. Following on, at 3:00pm, the Men’s team will
be battling Jersey to regain the famous trophy in the Muratti Vase Final. Jersey firmly
secured their place in the final following a convincing 2-0 defeat of Alderney in their semi-
final clash at The Arsenal back in March.
Guernsey FA’s Chief Executive, Gary Roberts, commented:
“We all know how much Muratti Day means to players, supporters, and everybody else
involved. We can’t wait to welcome fans from across the islands through the turnstiles on
17 th May for what will be such a momentous occasion here at Victoria Park."
“By holding both matches on the same day, fans are promised a mega day of football from
start to finish, and we invite everyone to turn out in force to support the teams in what will
be a truly memorable day for Channel Islands football.”
The day will be a ticketed-only event and significant demand is expected. Tickets can be
