Teams Revealed For Inaugural Victoria Park Charity Shield!
With the first ever Victoria Park Charity Shield just days away, we are thrilled to reveal that 18 local teams will compete to take home the title and trophy in Sunday’s tournament.
The event, which aims to raise vital funds and awareness for two local charities, Bowel Cancer Guernsey and Business Beats Cancer, will see the 7-a-side squads ‘Kick for a Cause’ over a series of 12-minute matches.

In addition to all the competitive action on the main pitch, there will be family-friendly activities for children of all ages on Victoria Park’s training ground, including an inflatable football pitch, Bowel Cancer Guernsey’s inflatable bowel and ‘Throw the Poo’ game. Food and refreshments, including healthy options, will be provided by Nutmeg, and there will be a tuck shop in the plaza, with all proceeds benefiting the two charities. Updates next week.
