Some Might Say This Could be the Guernsey Gig of the Year
O’eh’sis, Guernsey’s electrifying Oasis tribute act, will make history this summer as, they take to the stage for their first-ever performance at Victoria Park on Saturday 22 August.
In a landmark moment for the island, the event will be the first live music concert ever staged at Victoria Park, Guernsey’s home of football, since the stadium opened in 2025.
The night promises to transform Victoria Park from a football ground into a vibrant open-air concert arena, bringing together soaring anthems, festival energy and the best of Britpop swagger. From ‘Wonderwall’ to ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, fans can expect a set packed with wall-to-wall Oasis classics and 90s nostalgia.
Organisers said: “This is more than just a gig; it’s a landmark moment for live entertainment in Guernsey. To have a homegrown band of O’eh’sis’ calibre headline Victoria Park’s very first concert makes the occasion even more special. Football fans have taken the stadium to their hearts - now we’re looking forward to welcoming new faces through the gates for what promises to be an unforgettable night.”
Guernsey’s own Liam and Noel, Callum Aitken and Tyler Edmonds, said: “We’re absolutely buzzing to be bringing the band back together for this incredible occasion. To headline the very first gig at Victoria Park is massive for us. We can’t wait to rock the stadium this summer- it’s going to be special, and we’re ‘proper mad fer it’!”
With anticipation already building, this historic event is set to be one of the standout nights of summer – and possibly the year.
Tickets and further event information will be announced soon via Victoria Park’s official channels on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as the band’s Facebook page.
