Nutmeg and MUG Invite Islanders to ‘Raise a Pint’ for a Good Cause
Nutmeg at Victoria Park is teaming up with Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) to help raise awareness of male health and wellbeing in the Bailiwick. The charity’s reusable pint pots are now available for just £5, with all profits from each cup sold going directly towards raising awareness of those affected by male cancers here in Guernsey.
Chris Walker, from MUG, said: The campaign aims to make life-saving conversations as natural as a trip to the pub. By ‘raising a pint’, we hope to remind sports fans and men across the island to stay vigilant about their health and look out for one another."
Marvin Odillard, Cornerstone Group Founder, said: “It’s great to be teaming up with MUG for this initiative. The work the charity does to raise awareness of male cancers and wellbeing in the Bailiwick is incredible.
“Community sits at the heart of all of our venues, if we can help start a few important conversations amongst our customers about keeping their health in check over a pint or two, then we’re all for it.
“At Nutmeg, we offer low and alcohol-free alternatives, so whatever your tipple, not only can you get together with mates to catch the game, but with MUG’s reusable pint pots, you can also help spread the charity’s word – it’s a win-win.”
Whether you’re a passionate sports fan or just out for a social drink, we invite you to grab a cup, fill it up and help tackle male cancer head-on.
