Healthcare Group announced as a shirt sponsor of Guernsey Super Vets Football Team

Healthcare Group has been unveiled as a new shirt sponsor of Guernsey Super Vets football team, further building on its partnership with Victoria Park, Guernsey’s home of football.
The sponsorship comes after the practice was confirmed as a Health and Wellbeing Partner of the stadium and reflects a shared commitment to promoting health and fitness at every age.
The Super Vets side will wear their new shirts for the first time this Saturday when they take on Jersey in the Inter-Insular.
Dr Ed Partridge, Chairman at Healthcare Group, said:
“We’re so pleased to be supporting the over 50s team. Staying active as we get older is one of the most important things we can do for our health, and it’s something we strongly encourage as part of our holistic, preventative approach to patient care.
“Football is brilliant for both physical and mental wellbeing, and for us, this felt like the perfect fit. We’re delighted to see our name on the Super Vets shirts ahead of the Inter-Insular this weekend.”
Rob Jones, Director at Victoria Park and player for the Super Vets team, said:
“It’s fantastic to have Healthcare Group on board as shirt sponsor. Our Super Vets team is such a good example of there being no age limit to staying fit and active.
“I’ve been playing for the team for 10 years now, and I have no intention of stopping – it’s a great way to keep active and stay part of the game. This is what Victoria Park is all about, making sure people can keep playing and stay connected. Healthcare Group shares those values, and we’re very proud to be wearing their name on our shirts.”
Victoria Park will host the Men’s Over 50s Inter-Insular for the first time this weekend. Entry is free, but any proceeds raised will go towards the Guernsey Cheshire Home. Kick-off is at 12pm
