Guernsey FA Announces Raft of Football Fixtures at Victoria Park

Fixtures

The Guernsey FA has confirmed the dates for several inter-insular matches to be hosted at Victoria Park in the coming months as the season draws to a close.

The first match is the rescheduled Under 21 Muratti for the Ambassadeur Bowl, which will be played on Friday 13th March at Guernsey’s Home of Football, with a 7:45pm kick-off.

This match will be followed by the Under 16 Nigel Gavey Memorial Trophy match, hosted by the Guernsey FA on Sunday 26th April, with a 12:30pm kick-off.

As the season draws towards a close, Victoria Park will also host two of the annual Channel Islands championship matches over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd May, starting with the Upton Trophy match between the winners of the Guernsey Priaulx League and Jersey Combination League on the Saturday. This is followed by the John Leatt Trophy match on Sunday 3rd May, which will see the respective champions of the Guernsey and Jersey Under 16 leagues compete to be crowned the best youth team in the Channel Islands.

Victoria Park will also host numerous local cup finals throughout April and May, headlined by the Jeremie Cup, Stranger Cup, and Offshore Commercial Guernsey FA Cup. Dates for these three major cup finals, along with various other senior and youth cup finals will be announced in due course.

Whilst the end of May marks the closure of the official 2025/26 football season, the Guernsey FA and Victoria Park continue to be a focal point for football throughout the summer with the hosting of the annual BWCI Mini Soccer Festival on the weekend of 6th and 7th June, along with the Cherry Godfrey Cup on the 26th and 27th June.

Guernsey FA Chief Executive Officer, Gary Roberts, looked ahead to the coming months when commenting: “With the season fast drawing towards a close, we are looking forward to hosting various high-profile matches and tournaments at Victoria Park. Since opening last year, Guernsey’s ‘Home of Football’ has delivered some memorable moments, and I am sure that we will see exactly the same this season.

“The local football community has embraced Victoria Park, helping to create a great atmosphere on so many occasions, and we look forward to seeing thousands more spectators supporting Guernsey teams at these matches and tournaments in the months ahead.”
